"FESTIVAL EM MOVIMENTO" AT IMPACT HUB SÃO PAULO
Scenography Project

The scenography project for the event “Festival em Movimento” sought to bring the concepts and needs established by the organizers. Casualness, dynamic elements, interaction between people and spaces, delimitation of use, immersion, ephemerality and low cost guided all the proposed installations. Without the possibility of making any permanent changes in the infrastructure, such as fixing with nails, screws or hooks, and with only 24h for assemblage, basically the entire project was executed with lashings and adhesive tape.
The proposed installations were meant to create different spaces, but also to stimulate a sensorial response from the public, adding to the discourse of the event, which was proposed as an experience to the participants. The installations behave both like transitions of spaces and temporal immersions, promoters of contemplation and interaction. For this purpose, we were used vivid colors, different textures, as well as reflective objects, which dealt with the idea of the "self-image" brought by the event. ILUMINOO lamps created by the artist Caroles Gonzaga were added to the project, bringing the idea of mental clarity and creative capacity between mirrors. The outdoor area was proposed as a playful and welcoming space, bringing the umbrellas as the main element that generated spaces of permanence while creating multiple interactions and visual effects of colors and shadows.
